New Blog, New Semester, New Foresight!
Hi Everyone!
It’s been awhile since I posted (again), but last semster was crazy, and I definitely wanted to take a break from any writing, thinking, or unnecessary breathing! I have two semesters left (Fall and Spring), so the end of earning my Masters of Strategic Foresight degree is in sight. Graduation will take place on the Regent University campus May 9th and 10th, 2008, and I look forward to friends and family joining me there to celebrate the milestone.
Obviously, I’m switching blogs for several different reasons. No need to worry about what those reasons may be, but I would really appreciate it if you would change the link for my blog on your site (if you link to me, that is). It is now called “Forward!” instead of “FutureScope,” so be sure to change the name on your site as well.
Lastly, Jay Gary and Regent University have announced the “Foresight 2007″ conference for September 20th, and long-time Professional Futurist Graham Molitor will be speaking on “Forecasting Patterns of Change.” I’ll be there, as will several other MSF students, and this is a great time to familiarize yourself with Futures Studies and Strategic Foresight, as well as to speak with those at the university about the MSF program and the opportunities that surround an education in Foresight. I hope to see you there!
Ok, I realize that there was nothing in this post that was groundbreaking or personal/insightful, but I at least wanted to get the ball rolling here. Suffice it to say that I’m back, and I’ll try to stir things up a bit in the days ahead.
Frank
